Wow, what a weekend!

Can I just say - GO GIANTS! What a fabulous game. Eli Manning was great, as was Plaxico Burress. I was screaming my head off at the TV - my throat is a little hoarse this morning. Awesome half-time show with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. We had a bunch of people over and we were all singing at the top of our lungs - great time. Everyone bought so much food - we're pretty much set for the week with leftovers: chicken, steaks, potato salad, pasta salad, homemade guacamole, mmmmmm.
The storm that came in yesterday was crazy - it was so cold and windy. The rain was blowing sideways all morning - everything was soaked through. The rain cleared up by game-time, thankfully - although the cold gusts kept everyone inside in the warm (apart from a few smokers).

Because of all the craziness of yesterday, I was unable to continue hat knitting, but Saturday was mellow and I managed to finish 2 hats. I'll attach a photo with 3 of them in - all using Noro yarn, of course. A friend yesterday asked if I could make him a hat & scarf set using natural fibers, so I'm searching for the perfect pattern and yarn. I also need to finish my honey-pie's socks as a Valentines gift -so I have until next bloomin' Thursday to get all of my projects done.

We went on a major 2 hour hike on Saturday morning. It was such a beautiful day and, of course, I totally forgot to take my camera! It was a bit muddy up there, but so green and lush from all of the recent rain. Some of the spring flowers are coming out already.
I think that's all I have for now. Ta ta.
